As Karsan develops, the county of Belmont makes the most progress however bitter the means to the ends become, it’s people begin to thrive, sustaining towns and populations with what little is cobbled together, yet within this tumultuous time something sinister and ancient stirs, like flies drawn to a wound the world begins to shift as it is known, the people and animals can sense it, the change on the wind that comes with a bitter sting, something is coming, something ancient and omnipresent - the kind of feeling that makes your hair stand up on end and the birds go quiet.
PetrichorRP takes place in a Grim-Dark inspired custom divergent universe, set during the late 1800’s a major event that occurred during the Civil War has fundamentally shifted the state of Karsan with new Technologies, Medical Advancements, and Laws have all become prevalent in the county of Belmont but not without tradeoffs, strange beings walk the woods, the air heavy with grief and torment, yet the people adapt and endure while some thrive and grow fat off the land.
